Shows a sketch of a view looking north-east over the Porirua Harbour from the Whitireia Peninsula shore, towards the entrance to Paremata Harbour. A single-sailed canoe rests in the water at the right.
Relates to "Porerua Bay", illustration number 8 (Plate 3) of Brees' "Pictorial illustrations of New Zealand". Also similar to the watercolour at ATL B-031-028.
