Description

View of Shortland Street taken from the corner of O'Connell Street and looking west to Queen Street. Victoria Arcade and the Shortland Street Post Office are on the righthand side; Baker Bros estate agents premises are on the left. The advertising sign of J H Colwill can be seen over the top of buildings in Queen Street. Carriages, carts and cars can be seen in Shortland Street. Taken by William A Price in 1920s.
