'The Politician' cartoon strip. Refers to the fact that in December 2003 further issues about breeches of human rights in the handling of Algerian Asylm seeker Ahmed Zaoui's case by the SIS were raised.
Interview tapes, recorded without Zaoui's knowledge that were lost and found, and bias on the part of the Inspector-General of Intelligence and Security, Justice Laurie Grieg, were two issues that dominated the critique of the SIS.
