The first image is of Sir Basil Arthur dressed as royalty in a crown and ermine stole. He has won the Timaru by-election. In the other cameo Leader of the Labour opposition Walter Nash says that when they are the government again they intend to set up the New Zealand House of Lords. His view is seconded by his deputy Arnold Nordmeyer.
