View of the Normal School, Christchurch from Kilmore Street
Built 1873-1874. Architect was Samuel C Farr of Christchurch. Built as a school for training teachers. In 1878 the wing along Montreal Street was extended. Architect was Thomas Cane of the Education Board. In 1982 work began on converting the shool buildings into apartments.
