Description: Caricature of Geoff Robinson, radio journalist and co-presenter with Sean Plunkett, of morning report. A quaint feature, much beloved by the public, is the bird-call which explains why in the cartoon, Geoff Robinson is up a tree, with a microphone, recording the cry of the near-extinct, horn-rimmed, shorn and plucked dum dum...The odd-looking bird bears a close resemblance to Geoff Robinson's co-presenter, Sean Plunkett (n.b.shorn-sean) who has recently been suspended by Radio New Zealand because he had been 'confrontational' in an interview with Jeanette Fitzsimons. Apparently Jeanette Fitzsimons didn't complain and it seems somewhat of an over-reaction on the part of Radio New Zealand. Other Titles - "And now, to take us out to the news, your bird-cry this morning is the cry of the near-extinct, horn-rimmed shorn and plucked dum dum..." Quantity: 1 digital cartoon(s).
