Cartoon shows a scene inside a hairdressing salon, where a large bridal party has assembled. The bride is speaking to the bemused stylist, naming all the people who are supporting her in a bid to have her tousled hair styled: "Aunty Emma, cousins Timothy and John, the Gibson twins, Uncle Bert, Mr & Mrs Mason, young Toby, Aunt Agatha, the bride's maids and vicar, the best man and my husband to be - NOW can we get on with it!"

Note on verso indicates the theme is related to the Shop Employees Union.
