Inscriptions: Album page - P. Makers Naysmith, Wilson & Co. Year 1885. No in service 10. Dia driving wheels 41". Bogie wheels 26 1/2". Steam pressure 135 lbs. Coal space 3 tons. Heating surface 858 sq ft. Water space 1400 galls. Cylinders 15" x 20". Total weight 54 tons.
\"P\" 268 was built by Nasmyth Wilson (maker's no 272/85) entered service in May 1887 and was written off in March 1922. Built originally with a wooden cab which was later changed to a steel cab.
