Description

Three women, including Lydia Myrtle(centre), sitting on chairs outside a tent. The other two women may be members of the Colledge family of Napier. All three women wear long frocks and two, including Lydia, wear hats. On the ground is a kettle and next to the tent is a watering can. Up in the tree is an axe. Taken by William Williams in 1888.

Exhibited in 'Lydia' photographic exhibition held 17 July - 25 September in 1993, first floor foyer, National Library. Showed images of Lydia Myrtle Williams, wife of the photographer William Williams.
