Inscriptions: Album page - Cook's first voyage. Motu-rua Island. Bay of Islands. Captain Cook obtained his main supply of water from this creek on 4 Dec 1769 -. Marion's French expedition also got water from this stream in 1772.
Captain James Cook got water from this stream on his first voyage to New Zealand in 1769.
