Shows hospital in semi-rural setting with a garden, tennis court and swimming pool all sitting behind the main buildings. There is a semi-circular driveway from Hospital Street in foreground. Centre background is Ruahine St. Smith St comes off Ruahine Street to left of frame. Also coming off Ruahine St and parallel and to the left of the railway line is Otanga St. Parallel to the left is Garrison St also coming off Ruahine St and also running off into the background.
