Headstone at the grave of Florence Eliza Hatcher, photographed by James McAllister between 1909-1930, in Kopuatama Cemetery in the Stratford district. Shows a grave covered with shells, upon which are jars of wilted flowers, and a floral decoration under a glass cover. On the top of the headstone is a stone sculpture depicting an angel placing a wreath underneath an urn.
Eliza was interred in Kopuatama Cemetery on 23 November 1908. Her headstone inscription reads: In loving memory of Florence Eliza the beloved wife of John Hatcher who died 21 November 1908 aged 23 years. At rest.
