View of the site of the former Pa-o-Toata, a toungue of land above the Waikanae River within the Tararua Range. Kapiti Coast District, Wellington Region, New Zealand. Photograph taken by George Leslie Adkin in June 1938.
Pa was built by the Muaupoko tribe after they were attacked by the Ngati Toa under the chief Rangihaeta.
