Cleared and fenced land with tall trees to the right and behind a farmhouse. The house is single-storied with a thatched roof, a verandah around the front and visible left side. On the left is stacked timber drying. Flax bushes in the right foreground. Shows the homestead of the artist's son-in-law, John Tully

John Tully, the runholder, married the artist's oldest daughter Frances (Fanny)
