One-way bridge over the Rangitaiki River at Te Teko, Whakatane District. There is a house on the other side of the river with verandahs around two sides. Photographed by Albert Percy Godber circa 1920s.
Library client identified the building in the photograph, September 2009.
The Te Teko bridge was first in use in December 1915. Replaced circa 1980.
The building on the other side of the river is a hotel today (2009). It was owned by a Mrs Dunderdale as a guesthouse/roadstop (info from Alister Johnson, 2009).
