Birch Hill Station farmhouse, garden and grounds at Rangiora, in 1925. House centre left, with Arts and Crafts features, attic windows in the roof. Curved lawn in front of the house, flower beds and high clipped hedges on both sides. Sweeping lawns on a lower level with specimen trees including cabbage trees and shrubs.
