Princes Street, Auckland, taken by an unidentified photographer in the vicinity of the gateway of Government House. There are small saplings on either side of the street.
Tim Chamberlain thinks that this photograph must have been taken from the Northern Club building looking west towards Mount Eden (seen in the distance). Information recieved August 2009.
Note from back of file print reads: "Before the present University was built."
