Shows the following buildings on the east side of Queen Street in 1887: Railway Station, E & A Isaacs, Stone Bros, Gabriel Lewis, Standard Insurance Co., Victoria Arcade (W G Allen, D S Chambers, J Barber, Kidd & Wildman), South British Insurance Co., Arthur Tilly, Graves Aickin, Industrial & Provident Building Society, F G Ewington, E Porter & Co, Heighton & Co.

Probably originally lithographed by Star Steam Litho. and published in Brett's Auckland Almanac, 1887. Pl. 1. and reprinted as supplement to the committee's Newsletter, v. 9, no. 1, 1980. However, not found in WN copy of Brett's 1887.
