Mangere, Auckland, including Waitomokia Volcano. Shows an aerial view looking east of the explosion crater with central scoria cones being quarried, (later completely removed). Next to Ouarangi road and the then Mangere sewage treatment oxidation ponds. Photograph taken by Whites Aviation in 1964.
