Original watercolour artwork for border of Maori design of the appearance of carved wooden figures and motifs, and a Maori woman standing in traditional costume at lower right. The scenic vignettes show Rotora, Waitakerei Falls, Waikato River near Cambridge, Kauri, Ngaruahoe [Ngauruhoe].
Part of the Moran Collection, but may be by another artist; see Eph-C-MORAN-1920s-06 which is signed W Palmer in pencil at lower right.
