Pacific reef heron (Egretta sacra). A frontal depiction of specimen showing a horseshoe-shaped grey patch on its breast, and yellow legs, standing on a rock in water.
Bird said to belong to the Jabiru or stork family, by Mr J L Moore, a visitor to the Library in 1999.
