Provenance: Inscription in English in brown crayon on flyleaf at end of text "Memoirs of The Emperor Aurangzebe in Arabic". Inscription in English in brown crayon on flyleaf at beginning "Panegyrich on The Emperor of Hindoostan Aurangzebe in Arabic", with another incription in brown crayon in Arabic script on another flyleaf. Inscription in ink on verso of opening page of text " Manaqib Hadrat 'Alamgir Written in the Haramayn by Inayat Allah Khan [dated] Rajib 1134 AH"; the ink stamp below it is numbered 145 with the corresponding number written out.
