A man with a large stomach stands on a talking weighing scales which greets him, 'Hello...another victim of the Irish potato joke...'. Refers to Dr Denis Burkitt, an Irish dietary expert who visited Auckland in March 1980 and advocated a high fibre, high starch diet, including lots of potatoes.
