Shows a coastal profile, with points marked: Eumenga, Ka Ria Ria, Te Kawa Kawa, in the Te Araroa area, East Cape. At top is written: 121; and at lower left: Portfolio D.
Kawakawa was the previous name of Te Araroa (See Transactions of the New Zealand Institute, volume 45 (1912), page 359).
This work was probably done in late 1842-early 1843, because it is listed as having been received by the New Zealand Company on 14 July 1843 (See "List of views etc belonging to the New Zealand Company", CO 208/295 in Micro MS Coll 13, reel 1485, item number 121).
