A group of members of the Pacific Defence Council dressed in Hawaiian grass skirts and leis sing 'To you, sweetheart, Aloha...' and dance the hula on a beach in Hawaii 1952. From left New Zealand diplomats Sir Carl Berendsen who plays the ukelele, and Hugh Templeton; next is Richard Casey (Lord Berwick), Australian diplomat, Sir Percy Spender, Australian Ambassador to the United States, and American Secretary of State, Dean Acheson. On a palm tree is a sign saying 'Pacific Defence Council (Sweet Hawaii Division).
