Wellington from the Post Office tower, circa 1880s. Looks over Lambton Quay and The Terrace, towards Kelburn. The Wellington Athenaeum & Mechanics Institute (with clock tower); the Bank of New South Wales; South British Insurance; the firebell tower; the Catholic School in Boulcott St, and Mr Krull's garden and gazebo are all visible.
