A related drawing in the Grey Album, British Library (Add. MS 19953, fl 104, pl. 273) is titled 'A Moari or native swing. It shows eleven people on the swing and a smaller group watching in the foreground. Another version in the Hocken Library appears to be a copy of the Turnbull's version. George F. Angas copied the version in the Grey album (reversed) for his lithograph 'Native swing' published London, 1847, in 'The New Zealanders illustrated', plate 53
