Description

This material forms part of the research undertaken for Olive Baldwin's trilogy on the history of d'Urville Island, French Pass, Admiralty Bay and Stephens Island in the Northern Marlborough Sounds titled Story of New Zealand's French Pass and d'Urville Island. Book one (1979), book two (1981) and book three (1983).

History of the north Paraparaumu beach pioneer grave and the area it is sited on. A chronological account of the events that occurred in the area from 1839-1904 concentrating on the lives of the Henry and Hannah Field family, a history of the land ownership of the area of the pioneer grave and other information about the graves.

Reports on geological and palaeontology samples collected by Baldwin from two groundwater drilling programmes undertaken by the Kapiti Coast District Council 1994-1996.
