Shows how New Zealand could become the 56th state of the United States, with people eating "hot dawgs", Peter Fraser and Walter Nash wearing Texan hats and smoking cigars, Mr Dan Sullivan the teens' idol, waterfront workers working to a "skedoolie", the ENZED family becoming the ENZEE gang, the police "packing a rod" and the national beverage being a "Coke".
The newspaper cutting at top left is dated 3 March. According to Sid Scales, this was published in the NZ Free lance in 1946 or 1947. Dan Sullivan died in April 1947.
