Description

Gilbert Mair, draped in two Maori cloaks and holding a mere, at the Christchurch Exhibition in 1907. Three people stand behind him. The two on the left are possibly Peter Buck, in a kiwi(?) feather cloak, and Maggie Papakura, in a cloak with a tiki around her neck. Taken by an unknown photographer in 1907.
