Photograph taken by Whites Aviation at Otukou Pa, Lake Rotoira. Shows Pura Konui, Mihihi (Jack) Kuru and Tarihira Mihinui-Northcroft (nee Kumeroa), outside the wharenui at Otukou marae. The two women are shown seated, Mihihi (Jack) Kuru is standing behind them holding a carved tewhatewha. All three wear kakahu cloaks and piupiu.
