Description

In a scene in a living room, husband and wife sit in two armchairs in front of the fire. The wife has put down her magazine and tends the fire with a poker. She looks with dismay at her knee where a hole has appeared in her stocking. The husband is reading the paper, where there is a headline, 'Wait and see' says ENZLON receiver, and speaks crossly. The fireplace is made of stone and there are various ornaments, including an elephant, on the mantelpiece.
