The main map is of part of the east and west banks of the Hutt River showing shingle and sand areas and the directional flow of the current. The site of the proposed bridge is shown. Includes the name Captain Daniel written at a site adjacent to the site of the proposed bridge. The letters A to M are written at various intervals along the site of the proposed bridge as well as rough pencilled markings.
The second map is a cross section of the river from point A to M with measurements in feet. A rough pencilled sketch of a bridge, with some measurements, has been added above the cross sectional drawing
