Rhodes, Tahu (Capt), 1893-1947

Son of Arthur Edgar Gravenor Rhodes (1859-1922). ADC (Aide-de-camp) to General Sir Alexander Godley, commander, 1st NZEF from 1914-1916. Returned to NZ in 1919, and represented the Governor-General on the staff of the Prince of Wales during his tour of New Zealand in 1920. Purchased Rhodes house 'Meadowbank' at Ellesmere in 1923, selling it in 1926. Living in London in the 1930s. See "George Rhodes of the Levels and his brothers" by A.E. Woodhouse (P920 RHO WOO 1937)
