General Post Office (Wellington, N.Z.), Wellington Central Post Office

Between Customhouse Quay and Featherston St, bordered by Panama and Gray Streets. Designed by Thomas Turnbull and opened in 1884. Photographed by Wrigglesworth & Binns after a fire in 1887 (See Webster Album 6, PA1-q-262, p 55). Rebuilt after the fire, then building demolished in 1974.
