Description

The drawing of a korero at Teraia's pa with Teraia, George Clarke (Protector of Aborigines), Bishop Selwyn, Mr Cotton and a number of Maori is from a letter dated 30 July 1842 from Bishop Selwyn to his mother. During the korero Teraia consented to give up slaves taken.
