Photographs taken on trips around New Zealand, by Arthur Nelson Field and a group of friends. Some views show the cars they were travelling in, including some scenes where the vehicles became stuck in mud.
Areas visited include the Wairarapa, Taranaki (including the Taranaki tollgate) and Parihaka; parts of the South Island, including Haulashore Island, Maruia Springs, Okarito, and a view of Reefton after a fire (circa 1928).
