King George II of the Hellenes arriving at a parade in Helwan after which he presented medals to the platoon that acted as his escort during his journey from Crete. Taken 25 June 1941 by an official photographer. Behind the King is his cousin, Prince Peter; behind in white naval uniform is the King’s uncle Prince George of Greece; to the left of Prince George and wearing dark glasses is Crown Prince Paul.
