Caption - Original Evening Post caption reads: "Barrie Cook may have stumbled on a goldmine when buying the property at 8 MacFarlane Street, Mt Victoria. Mr Cook obtained the property at auction for $330,000 last Tuesday...According to auctioneer Bryan Weyburne, an unknown number of gold sovereigns is believed to have been buried on the property by Mrs Hay's husband, Victor..."
