English-born artist who came to New Zealand with her second husband, a civil engineer, in the 1860s. They lived variously in Dunedin, Invercargill, Oamaru (1877-1878). She was a member of the Otago Art Society where she exhibited four works in one year. A small sketchbook of her work is held at the Hocken Library
