Howell, John Henry, 1869-1944

Science teacher born and educated in Britain, Germany and Switzerland. Became science master at Auckland Grammer School in 1901. In 1906 became director of Christchurch Technical College, and in 1919, director of Wellington Technical College, from which position he retired in 1931. Quaker.
