Street scene in Mount Maunganui during the 5000 Club carnival in January 1949. Shows parading marching girls, cars, trucks, and holidaymakers. A mail truck of W H Munro's delivery service is in the right foreground. National Publicity Studios caption reads: "Marching display. Indicates the traffic which invades Mt Maunganui at Christmas.
