Recruitment poster shows a uniformed man facing a young recruit and pointing out to him the front of an aircraft just behind them. In the left background is an aircraft hangar. The reader is instructed to write for full particulars to the Commandant, Air Training Corps, Air Headquarters, Wellintton, C.1.
Date confirmed as early 1941, in article by Stephanie Gibson "Display folk; second World War posters ..." in "Tuhinga", no 10 (2008), page 16. "The Air Training Corps was established in February 1941 for boys aged 16 1/2 to 18 years, to ensure enough skilled technicians and air crew would be available to keep the RNZAF in the air".
