Description

Photographs are part of a larger collection in Manuscripts of papers which relate mainly to Boyack's research for his three books on the social history of New Zealand soldiers in World War One (The Great adventure, 1989; Behind the lines, 1989; and In the shadow of the war, 1990) and to an unpublished book relating to enemy aliens in New Zealand during World War Two (Prisoners of prejudice). They include correspondence, research notes and drafts. There are also papers relating to other aspect of Boyack's activities, including his involvement in the administration of cricket in the Hutt Valley; Wellington Polytechnic Certificate of Journalism and research undertaken for the YMCA and the Dictonary of New Zealand Biography.

Arrangement: Negatives at 1/2 179869 F to 1/2 179874 F and 1/2 179893 F to 1/2 179900 F. Also at 35mm 22072 to 22081.
