Two charcoal burners stand on each side of a cone-shaped pile of wood. In the background can be seen another, mounded over with earth. Piles of logs line the right-hand side of the view, and remains of native trees in cleared land can be seen in the background. Photographed by an unknown photographer in about 1912.
