Looking south east on Courtenay Place, Wellington, toward Kent and Cambridge Terraces. Shows cabbage trees and trams. In the middle ground, centre left, on Kent Terrace, is a group of 4 businesses including the Purvis millinery shop and the Cafe Royal with its sign advertising `Oysters'. Photograph taken by Charles Sydney Smith between 1911-1912.
