Whaling boat (Alabamha?) before landing a whale, circa 1910. Photographer unidentified.

Note on back of file print reads: `Caption on original print read "The `Alabamha' [sic] just before landing the big whale. She may be seen floating alongside. There was a cow and a calf and the mother stuck her dead baby until she was lanced to death. Thus the two whales were caught very easy [sic]" '
