Description

Prime Minister, Walter Nash, is escorted with his guitar away from an enraged crowd by several policemen. They are outside a theatre where 'Wally Gnash (the voice)' has been performing. The advertisement outside the theatre lists the favourites; 'Taxation Rock, My mistake, Sittin' on the fence..' Finance Minister, Arnold Nordmeyer is already leaping into the waiting car with his shirt torn. Refers to the unpopularity of the Nash Nordmeyer regime. The rock-'n'-roll singer was Johnny Devlin who was touring New Zealand.
