Cushion cover (very fragile) is composed of a plain centre, bordered with a lace inset and with a border of embroidered postcards on fine silk, with messages: Souvenir de France 1917; To my dear sister (x 2); To my dear Mother (x 2); Happy Christmas; Remember me to all; To my dear sweetheart; To my dear sister from your loving brother; Princess Victoria Royal Irish Fuseliers. Outer silk layer is no longer intact
