Unidentified group, chiefly men in uniform, outside the Wellington Provincial Centennial Memorial, The Esplanade, Petone, circa 1940s. Photograph taken by S P Andrew Ltd.
This building was converted into the Petone Settlers Museum between 1977-1989.
1840-1940 settlers memorial on Petone foreshore designed by H L Massey in 1939. Features a replica of the `Aurora'. Converted into the Petone Settlers Museum, in stages, between 1977-1989.
